Usage

Improve focus, energy and memory. Noopept is a Nootropic in the Racetam class that exhibits a potency 1000x greater than that of Piracetam. As one of the strongest and most effective Nootropic supplements on the market today, Noopept is meant to increase your overall productivity, motivation, and drive! It offers many benefits in terms of improving memory, learning capacity, focus, and concentration. These improvements range from subtle to significant and vary by user. Other improvements include mental energy and overall brain health. Considered a neuroprotectant, Noopept has the ability to help protect the neurons in the brain from damage.

Noopept Details :

Noopept, a strong cognitive enhancer, was developed in Russia in the early 2000s for the treatment of alcohol induced brain damage. A mind-turning supplement, Noopept is a powerful substance which is able to cross the blood brain barrier. It works primarily by binding to glutamate receptors and exerting strong neuroprotective effects on the brain. Its high bio-availability also means it is fast acting and may have a cumulative effect.

While it is most well known as a brain supplement, Noopept also increases coordination and improves mood. Some research also indicates that this supplement may help to prevent oxidization damage to the brain. It also works to treat alcohol related brain damage (this was actually the original purpose for its development).

Noopept (Russian: ; GVS-111, N-phenylacetyl-L-prolylglycine ethyl ester) is a peptide promoted and prescribed in Russia and neighbouring countries as a nootropic. The registered brand name Noopept () is trademarked by the manufacturer JSC LEKKO Pharmaceuticals. It is sold as a dietary supplement in the US and as a medication in other countries.

Noopept is not a racetam (due to not having a 2-oxo-pyrrolidine skeleton),but is generally grouped together in the same category because it shares similar mechanisms of action with the racetam family, mainly modulation of the acetylcholine system, as well as modulation of AMPA receptors. When compared to traditional racetams, it has been found to be, according to studies, 1000 times more potent than the prototypical racetam drug, piracetam.Noopept is a prodrug for the endogenous peptide cycloprolylglycine.

Noopept is prescribed in Russia and certain other eastern-european countries, though not in America.

Noopept is also readily crosse the blood-brain-barrier following oral administration in modest doses, though some people claim it has higher bioavailabilty sublingually and is ineffective orally

Noopept is a peptide-derived nootropic that is closely related to the racetam family. It has higher bioavailability than the racetams. Although, it is not technically a racetam, it carries a similar method of action to the drug class. Noopept is a patented drug with medical approval in several countries as a general nootropic. There is currently no registered medical use in the USA and other countries.

Noopept is famously quoted as being "1000 times stronger than Piracetam". This is a true statement in terms of potency because Noopept gets metabolized much more efficiently than the racetam family. This means a much lower dosage is needed to get desired results from the drug. This requires one to be much more careful with their dosing practices.

Noopept's method of action is similar to the other racetams. Noopept works on the AMPA and NDMA receptor sites and their pathways of function. It also has an affinity with the Acetylcholine system and the ACh receptor sites. Both of these factors contribute to Noopept's array of nootropic benefits.

Like Aniracetam, Noopept seems to stimulate an anxiolytic response in animal and human models. This is not a guaranteed result and seems to vary widely between subjects. Like with Aniracetam, Noopept seems stimulate Dopamine receptor sites (D2 and D3) as well as the ACh nicotinic receptor sites. Noopept also seems to stimulate certain Serotonin receptors and this may also lead to mood boosting qualities.

Noopept is being investigated as a possible treatment for Alzheimer's. It is believed by some that it may work beyond the areas of increasing cognition and memory. In lab rats NGF (nerve-factor) was increased after administration. This reflects some promise in repairing damaged cells and receptor sites that are commonly seem in Alzheimer's patients. There is no proof this may be repeated in human models and it is investigated in the pharmacological industry.

Noopept Dosage

Due to its incredible potency, the recommended dosage of Noopept is small, usually 10 to 20 mg taken as often as three times daily. Dosage should not exceed 40 mg in a 24-hour period. Since the body metabolizes Noopept rapidly, and it has a very short half-life in the human body, it is preferable to take multiple small doses versus one large dose, in order to properly benefit from Noopept.
